Hafsa Kanjual is an assistant professor of history at Lafayette College. She holds a PhD in history and women's studies from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on the history of modern Kashmir. She has written and spoken on Kashmir for numerous news outlets, including the Washington Post, Al Jazeera English, and the BBC.
