Research Fellowship in Political Economy

The Ameticus Institute is pleased to invite applications for the position of Research Fellow, a 3-6 month fellowship with a focus on political economy.
We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Research Fellow specializing in Political Economy. The ideal candidate will have completed PhD coursework in Political Science or Economics, a strong foundation in research methods, and fluency in both Arabic and English. Your academic acumen, along with exceptional communication and organizational skills, will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive research, contributing to literature reviews, and occasionally supporting administrative tasks. This is a remote, paid fellowship that requires an average of 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

Completed PhD coursework in Political Science or Economics; or MA degree specializing in Political Economy or Economics with at least 3 years of research and publication experience. Demonstrated fluency in both Arabic and English. Applicants with proven academic publications in research methods are preferred. Responsibilities

Conduct research on specific economics/political economy related topics. Present literature summaries on relevant topics. Present weekly literature reviews. Contribute to literature reviews and discussions with senior scholars. Report to the project manager and perform some administrative tasks.
