Ahsan Shafiq completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Hertfordshire in 2010 and received his master’s degree from the University of Leeds in 2012. In 2013, he began his professional journey as a faculty member at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan. He served as the Coordinator of the Research Center for Islamic Economics (IKAM) in Istanbul and as the Associate Editor of the Turkish Journal of Islamic Economics between 2017 and 2021. He was the International Outreach Executive of the ILKE Foundation until 2023. He serves as the Director of Operations at Ibn Haldun University and the Turkey Ummatics Institute.
